Royal Jet Lounge

The brief for this project was to create a concept for the new terminal at Abu Dhabi airport. MDI designed the terminal specifically with the travellers’ needs in mind. The visually striking design has made maximum use of natural daylight allowing the space to create a calming and relaxing atmosphere. Not only have we used natural light to its maximum but we have also provided striking vertical gardens within the terminal. As a priority of the brief, passenger movement is a fundamental aspect of the design development process. The curvaceous, fluid forms provide an iconic welcoming to Abu Dhabi.
